About

Bar Zin pairs garden seating, tapas, and an extensive wine list to create a memorable dining experience. This restaurant stands out with its fresh takes on coastal cuisine, modern style, and a laid-back island vibe.

While the eatery expanded and grew over the next ten years, owner Tim Seyda wasn't satisfied with its direction. So, he made a decisive move to revitalize the restaurant from top to bottom.

In 2021, Bar Zin reopened with a renewed fervor and vision. Not only was the eatery remodeled, but it also added the Amelia Island Wine Company, offering selections from all over the world. Additionally, the menu was revitalized to its earlier days, featuring upscale comfort food in a tapas-style.

The bistro's menu reflects a mix of modern American and Mediterranean flavors. These rotate with the seasons and pair superbly with any of the wines. For a taste of Italian cuisine, consider visiting its sister restaurant, Cucina South.

Bar Zin's charming location in Amelia City puts it in proximity to the island's top attractions. Such convenience means that after sightseeing, you're never far from a delicious meal. For example, after a day on the water at Peters Point Park, let the tapas and wine be the culmination of your adventure. Or include a celebratory meal after a day at The Golf Club of Amelia Island.

These days, Bar Zin changes the menu with the seasons but keeps the methods and approach that guests know and love. Excellence isn't just about what's on the plate—it's woven through the whole dining experience, from the wine list to the careful service at each table.

Vibe

Set off from the main drag and under a grove of trees, the restaurant's setting is perfect for unwinding. As part of the Palmetto Walk Shopping Village, the exterior resembles older, stylish homes rather than a typical strip mall. Think soft colors, tin roofs, and shuttered windows.

The interior is quaint, with coastal colors and modern decor. The soft lighting adds serenity to the atmosphere, making it ideal for couples or those seeking a quiet meal.

While there is a small dining area and bar inside, many patrons opt for sitting on the patio overlooking the gardens. The umbrella-covered picnic tables protect against the elements and create a delightful outdoor setting.

No matter where you opt to sit, you'll find that the mood at Bar Zin makes every meal special.

Bar Zin: Menu & Drinks

Nothing pairs with wine like a Charcuterie board. At Bar Zin, you'll get a

selection of artisan-cured meats and cheeses along with pickled vegetables, honeycomb, and mustard.

When a salad is on the docket, you can't beat the French Country. This healthy choice features pears, bacon, blue cheese, pickled red onion, and candied pecans. Add salmon, chicken, or shrimp for an additional cost to make it a more satisfying meal.

A soul-satisfying comfort food is the meatloaf that showcases ground Wagyu beef. This hearty entree is a go-to after a day exploring Egan's Creek Greenway on a Segway. The meatloaf features a crimini demi glaze and comes with mashed potatoes and spinach.

Seafood lovers will want to try the Cajun Shrimp Risotto. This delectable dish features fresh-caught shrimp, Andouille sausage, and a savory Cajun sauce. These ingredients come on a bed of Arborio rice, where flavors and textures unite for a tasty entree.

Another entree to consider is the "catch of the day," which rotates based on what local fishermen deliver. This dedication ensures variety and ensures that guests dine on the freshest seafood available.

Naturally, when you're ready to pair your meal with a wine, the sky's the limit. Since the Amelia Island Wine Company is next door, you can discover a white, red, rosé, or sparkling wine to suit your palate.

Craft cocktails are also available along with craft beer.

Dining at Bar Zin lets you relax in its garden setting and enjoy various tapas and wines, making it a must-visit when you're in Amelia Island.
