About

The Kitchen Table stands on the legs of what they call "the 4 E's": exquisite, elegant, extraordinary, and entertaining.

The Oranjestad restaurant is the vision of Jan and Roxanna, who have a combined 75 years in the hospitality industry. This fine establishment revolves around an exclusive 16-seat table where magic unfolds nightly through an innovative, multi-course menu.

The Kitchen Table showcases the freshest local ingredients through artisan cuisine while maintaining a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Chef David fuses Aruban, Caribbean, and Peruvian flavors and recipes into a symphony of flavors.

Jan and Roxanna create an environment where every meal becomes a special occasion. They offer an unparalleled dining experience that captivates the senses and highlights the island's bounty.

Unlike other Chef Tables, Jan and Roxanne believe gourmet meals should be shared early in life, so children are allowed at The Kitchen Table. It's the perfect end to a family day exploring Renaissance Island.

Jan and Roxanne's commitment to sustainability, locally sourced ingredients, and innovative cuisine make The Kitchen Table a must-visit place in Aruba.

Vibe

You know you're in for a special evening from the moment you arrive at The Kitchen Table. The interior showcases hand-woven Peruvian blankets draped from the ceiling, a foretaste of the fusion cuisine you'll soon discover. The intimate yet open space sets the stage for an Aruban night of engagement, relaxation, and culinary wonder.

The exclusive seating arrangement creates a communal ambiance, inviting diners to share in the joy and intrigue of each course. Every detail, from the lighting to the table setting, complements the evening's narrative. The ambiance is that of a welcoming Peruvian home, where everyone is family.

This harmonious blend of elements creates an unforgettable atmosphere where food, culture, and conversation intertwine. The cuisine is exquisite, but the ambiance ensures diners celebrate life, love, and the joy of eating.

The Kitchen Table: Menu & Drinks

This Chef Table restaurant serves an 8-course meal curated by Chef David's team. Every dish tells a story of heritage, creativity, and the fervent passion for excellence.

Unlike other Chef Tables, The Kitchen Table accommodates dietary considerations. With at least 48 hours' notice, the menu can be customized to be gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan.

The menu changes every 6-8 weeks, but here is what you can expect.

Your culinary adventure begins with a Snack Duo of Cevichito of fish and Causita of Crab. Even if you're not a fan of seafood, these gourmet snippets may change your mind!

Another course is the Canelones of Aji de Gallina (chicken) in a cheese sauce. This entree uses fresh Arubian ingredients and showcases the best of the Caribbean with Peruvian finesse.

The Seco (meat stew), gallo pinto, and banana puree are a taste treat that will have your palate dancing. The unique dish is like an Aruban sunset, rich with flavorful hues that transcend the ordinary.

Rounding out an 8-course meal is a dessert like Mango mousse and homemade chocolate gelato. While signaling the end of your epicurean journey, one taste will have you wishing the night would last forever.

Wines can be paired with each course for an additional cost. Such attention to detail creates a taste sensation unlike anything you've ever experienced.

Aruba abounds with adventure, like a voyage in the Atlantis Submarines Aruba. Similarly, your Aruba vacation can take a culinary adventure when discovering the 4 E's–exquisite, elegant, extraordinary, and entertaining–at The Kitchen Table.
