About

Before delving into the tasty fare served at Blanca and Pierre’s Restaurant, we need to share a love story. Many years ago, Blanca Anocibar, from Mexico, fell in love with a Frenchman, Pierre. Over time, and with their love and passion for food, they opened Blanca & Pierre's Restaurant in Big Bear. That was 18 years ago.

Despite Pierre's passing in 2014, the eatery continues to flourish and give back to the community. A prime example is during the pandemic on the Day of Giving, when it fed over 400 people free of charge.

The legacy of Blanca and Pierre’s Restaurant lives on at the bistro. The kitchen staff uses fresh herbs and ingredients, ensuring every dish retains its flavor and aroma.

The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering breakfast and lunch options and catering to diverse tastes and preferences. It's perfect for a hearty breakfast before a day at Gold Rush Mining Camp Adventures or lunch after the thrills at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain.

Whether a family outing in Big Bear or a casual meal with friends, Blanca and Pierre’s Restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere for all its guests.

Vibe

Blanca and Pierre’s Restaurant is a quaint and charming establishment whose interior exudes a homey vibe reminiscent of a French bistro. The white tablecloth decor creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for family gatherings or intimate meals.

Externally, the facade blends seamlessly into the backdrop of the Big Bear community. Its cottage-like look invites guests into a world where traditional charm meets contemporary comfort.

The outdoor seating area offers a delightful space for Big Bear diners to enjoy the fresh mountain air, making it an ideal stop after exploring the local trails or soaking in the area's tranquility.

Blanca and Pierre's Restaurant: Menu & Drinks

Noted for its breakfast fare, you can't go wrong with a "build your own omelet." With plenty of fresh ingredients, you can craft a super omelet to your specifications.

Another standout item is the Eggs Benedict, praised for its perfect blend of flavors and beautifully executed presentation.

One of the best breakfast deals on the menu is the Daily Special, served until 11. Diners get two eggs cooked to their liking, a choice of potato O'brian or hash browns, and a buttermilk pancake.

The lunch crowd will appreciate the burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pasta options. For the budget-minded, opt for the Lunch Special: any sandwich and a cup of soup. It's the perfect meal after hiking Castle Rock Trail.

Regarding beverages, Blanca's has a wide variety. There are various fruit juices, teas, and soft drinks, while their coffee is a craft. Each cup is carefully prepared, offering the perfect blend of aroma and flavor to start the day or enjoy alongside their delicious meals. Whether you prefer a classic drip coffee, a rich espresso, or a creamy latte, their selection will satisfy any coffee lover.

While the beer selection is limited, there is enough variety to satisfy most drinkers. And for something with some bubbly, order a mimosa!
