What was your background prior to getting into the vacation rental industry?
Professionally, we bring a unique and complementary blend of experience that we believe will be instrumental in elevating the business to new heights.
With over a decade in sales leadership, I currently manage a team of 50 high-performing sales professionals. This experience has sharpened my skills in leadership, client relations, and strategic growth—all vital components of expanding and nurturing a successful property management company.
Marylee brings a wealth of expertise in accounting that will be absolutely critical to managing the P&Ls of each individual property. Her attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and deep understanding of financial systems will ensure we uphold and exceed the standards of accounting excellence your clients expect and deserve.
Together, we also have significant experience in complex manufacturing and supply chain management. This background has taught us how to improve processes, manage intricate systems, and deliver consistent results—skills that translate seamlessly into the world of property management.
What drew you into the vacation rental industry?
For us, to give an incredible experience, support a special occasion or getaway, and build lifelong memories for others is our dream. Owning and running this business isn’t just about the numbers—it’s about building a lasting legacy rooted in family and community.
As a family deeply committed to both business and each other, Marylee and I are excited about the opportunity to grow and steward this business as a team. We’re also eager to involve our children in this journey, using it as a living classroom to teach them the values of entrepreneurship, responsibility, and service.
What do you believe is your differential value when it comes to the guest experience?
What makes us different is our story and our why. We believe that is crucial to telling the story of how Casago Estes Park is a dedicated community-focused, family business. Our “why” comes from losing our daughter Kinlee, and we are open to sharing with others.
Please share how else you are involved in your greater community.
I serve on the board of directors for the Weld Food Bank. Marylee is a runner and runs various races for different causes. The main race she runs is the Wild West Relay, which raises money for the Matthews house in Ft. Collins, a youth shelter supporting youth homelessness.
Before we wrap-up, what is your favorite thing about Estes Park?
Estes Park is known for its nature, wildlife, and scenery. For us, the scenic views are absolutely breathtaking.
