Overlooking Herradura Bay on Costa Rica's central Pacific Coast in the Puntarenas Province, Los Sueños Resort & Marina is the billfish capital of the world. You may find yourself cozying up to an angler or two at one of the restaurants in the Marina Village open to the general public. Or, you may unwind after a day of hitting the fairways at La Iguana Golf Course at Los Sueños or explore the lush Carara National Park nearby. Each spot offers its own coastal vibe and unique dining encounter after a day of Costa Rican adventure.

Vibe

Los Sueños Marina was the first government-approved marina to operate in Costa Rica. With luxurious yachts and sporty fishing boats lining the marina, an elegant yet casual atmosphere embraces the docks. This sets the stage for relaxed dining environments in any Los Sueños Marina Village waterfront eateries.

During the Signature Triple Crown held annually at the marina, the energy and activity increase as anglers compete to catch (and release) sailfish, marlin, and billfish. But even with this deep-sea fishing event, the mood remains friendly, laid-back, and appealing.

The marina is also a premier destination for enjoying a sunset. Whether relaxing on your boat, dining at one of the restaurants, or shopping at the boutiques, Los Sueño's Marina Village offers a picturesque setting.

Los Sueños Marina Village: Menu & Drinks

With so many dining options at Los Sueño's Marina Village, there's something for everyone.

With its Mediterranean vibe, Dolce Vita Coffee & Sweets is open all day, starting with breakfast at 6 AM. Its menu highlights Mediterranean flavors fused with an essence of Latin America. An example is the Breakfast Tacos with feta or Burrito Mediterraneo with kalamata olives. The menu goes beyond specialty coffees, sweet gelato, homemade pastries, and bread. Additionally, you'll discover Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, Costa Rican cuisine, pasta, and hearty steak and chicken dishes.

The Lanterna Italian Steakhouse offers authentic Italian cuisine for a refined dining experience. All of its grilled dishes—except for those served with pasta—are gluten-free. Ask the wait staff about their daily Catch of the Day and the locally made Capocollo.

Located on the second floor of the Marina Entrance building, the Hook Up is a family-friendly dining destination. The menu features casual cuisine and panoramic views of the marina, Herradura Bay, and mountains. Main courses range from Fish 'n Chips to grilled sea bass and mouth-watering jumbo ribs. The laid-back vibe and flat-screen TVs make it a fantastic place to dine and catch sporting events.

For a completely different sense of flavors, Bambu Sushi and Asian Cuisine offers delicious fresh sushi, sashimi, and other succulent dishes inspired by travels to the Far East. Choose from a wide selection of specialty rolls, smaller or larger plates, or their Bento #1—available only before 5 PM. The artful blending of international flavors comes together at Bambu, such as in their J.C. Roll with masago, avocado, and eel sauce or Hamachi Jalapeño with furikake rice cake.

Whichever eatery you choose at Los Sueños Marina Village, you'll have a memorable Costa Rican dining experience.
