Another comforting feature is the parachutes utilize AADs (Automatic Activation Devices). All parachutes have a tiny computer (AAD) that will deploy the reserve if the student or instructor fails to do so, no matter the reason.

- Start on Autopista General Cañas (Highway 1), heading towards Aeropuerto Juan Santamaría.
- Continue on Highway 1 past the airport, following signs for San Ramón and eventually merging onto Highway 27 towards Orotina.
- Exit Highway 27 at the Caldera exit and merge onto Highway 34, the Costanera Sur, heading towards Jacó.
- Follow Highway 34 south, passing through towns like Jacó, Parrita, and Quepos.
- Look for signs for the destination as you approach Uvita.
