About

One eatery in New Smyrna Beach is making waves with Asian-inspired Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisine.

The story of AA Garden Fusion is as rich and diverse as its menu. This family restaurant was founded by patriarch Sunny Ngo, an immigrant from Vietnam. With passion, grit, and long-suffering, he and his family opened AA Nails and Spa and embraced the American Dream.

As part of their service, the Ngo family served complimentary Asian cuisine. The food was such a hit that they opened AA Garden Fusion in 2014.

They created a menu that's respectful of tradition and daringly modern. Using locally sourced ingredients, chefs at AA Garden Fusion create nourishing fare that is a delight to the senses.

The eatery is near Daytona Beach attractions like the Atlantic Center for the Arts, Lighthouse Point Park, and the Daytona Beach Golf Club. Such convenience makes planning your itinerary with a delicious meal easy.

The restaurant continues to rise in popularity, becoming a staple in New Smyrna Beach for those craving a meal that satisfies the soul as much as the stomach.

Vibe

Located on Flagler Avenue, the eatery features lush greenery and soft, inviting lighting for a tranquil yet exciting dining experience.

Entering AA Garden Fusion, guests catch the aromatic scents of herbs and spices, indicative of the fresh food to come. The decor strikes a delicate balance between elegant and cozy, with wooden accents and calming warm hues. Colorful Vietnamese art adorns the walls, and the seating area is simple yet functional.

A carefully curated playlist of soothing tunes underscores the dining room's buzz. At the same time, the open kitchen concept allows the sizzle and pop of woks to intermingle with the diners' conversations.

Whether seated indoors or outdoors, surrounded by the manicured garden, guests are assured an engaging, relaxing, and enchanting atmosphere.

Florida is famously known for its beaches, and, truth be told, the state is home to 9 out of 10 cities with the most shark attacks since 1642. While neighboring New Smyrna Beach and Daytona top that list of over 350 years, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission states you shouldn’t be worried about a shark attack. Stay alert to any warnings or announcements, and here are some shark pointers to keep in mind when hitting the Florida waves:

  • Stay in groups and don’t wander too far from shore
  • Avoid swimming at dawn or dusk or in areas with a lot of fishing
  • Limit splashing and don’t make sudden or erratic movements
  • Don’t wear shiny jewelry or enter the ocean if you have an open cut (or are bleeding at all)
  • Build sandcastles and sunbathe on land.
