Cafe del Soul: Menu & Drinks

Cafe del Soul's menu features fresh ingredients like organic grains, nuts, and produce. It also serves GMO-free chicken and house-made healthy bites, salads, dressings, and more.

And don't assume that it's not tasty because the cuisine is healthy. An example of deliciousness is the Curry Don't Stop wrap. This handheld showcases brown rice, cranberries, spinach, and almonds. Tossed in house-made mustard curry dressing and served in a wheat tortilla, this handheld will have your taste buds dancing. Add chicken or tofu for a protein boost and even more flavor.

The nachos are a creative spin on a classic comfort food. The Nachos del Soul uses tortilla chips, organic onion, black beans, and tomatoes. They are smothered in cheddar cheese and house-made chipotle dressing and topped with fresh, organic avocado.

The Quinoa Chipotle is a filling yet healthy choice. The bowl comes with organic quinoa, spinach, black beans, and tomatoes in a chipotle dressing with avocado. It's perfect before heading to a show at The Little Theater NSB.

Regarding drinks, the bistro has plenty of options. While they have a few beers, wine, and canned cocktails, the juices and smoothies are the most popular selections.

Try their made-from-scratch ginger limeade or chilled black tea. Smoothies range from Strawberry Passion to Berry Beautiful, and juices come in creative variations like Citrus Swamp, Wonder, and Carrot, to list a few.

When vacationing in the Daytona and New Smyrna Beach area, adding Cafe del Soul to your itinerary is a no-brainer for delicious fare, house-made drinks, and a laid-back vibe.

Florida is famously known for its beaches, and, truth be told, the state is home to 9 out of 10 cities with the most shark attacks since 1642. While neighboring New Smyrna Beach and Daytona top that list of over 350 years, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission states you shouldn’t be worried about a shark attack. Stay alert to any warnings or announcements, and here are some shark pointers to keep in mind when hitting the Florida waves:

  • Stay in groups and don’t wander too far from shore
  • Avoid swimming at dawn or dusk or in areas with a lot of fishing
  • Limit splashing and don’t make sudden or erratic movements
  • Don’t wear shiny jewelry or enter the ocean if you have an open cut (or are bleeding at all)
  • Build sandcastles and sunbathe on land.
