About

Aho, mateys! An open-water adventure in Fort Lauderdale is guaranteed to bring out the inner pirate in you! Step aboard the BlueFoot Pirate Adventures!

Rest assured, Mom and Dad, this is a tame and family-friendly excursion, emphasizing fun for the little swashbucklers rather than pirating shenanigans.

But there are a few things to know before putting on your eyepatch. First, it's an interactive experience, so you will talk with your "mateys" and those on your adventure. Crewmembers will teach you the art of "buccaneer talk," so you sound like a seafaring pirate of old! Arghh!

Next, you and your crew sail into deeper waters, searching for treasure. And based on patrons' comments, the more you "act" like a pirate, the more you get out of the experience.

Once a sail on a BlueFoot Pirate Adventures, young buccaneers get to fire cannons! No, not real ones, but it's all fun, nonetheless! These water cannons shoot streams of water to protect the vessel from other pirates!

While it is a pirate-themed cruise, don't worry about the crew being rude or crass. They are very friendly and are dressed to the T in pirate regalia and exuding buccaneer swag.

This themed adventure is near other water tours, like the Jungle Queen Riverboat, making it easy to combine several adventures into a day.

So, grab your crew, don your attire, and book a tour with the BlueFoot Pirate Adventures!

BlueFoot Pirate Adventures: Fun Facts & Cool Features

The company established BlueFoot Pirate Adventures in 2011, and it has become one of the more sought-after fun-themed adventures. Like many who have braved this pirate experience, you'll find it a swashbuckling good time!

A cool feature is that you can purchase buccaneer swag at the ship. This is handy if you didn't pack any for your vacation. However, it's best (and more economical) to bring your attire.

Trip lengths vary depending on the season and adventure, but the Family Pirate Cruise lasts about an hour. All cruises are aboard the Bluefoot, a US Coast Guard-inspected and certified vessel that holds a maximum of 49 people.

Cruises are on the Intracoastal Waterway and New River, featuring the necessary safety equipment and a well-trained crew, ensuring smooth, safe sailing.

After your swashbuckling good time, feed your famished crew at nearby spots like The Wreck Bar or Coconuts. Such convenience takes the stress out of planning and driving.

BlueFoot Pirate Adventures also offers adult BYOB sunset cruises, private charters, and birthday extravaganzas. Each is priced differently but offers many of the same zany pirate antics.

So, when you're in the Fort Lauderdale area, gather up your privateers, put on your eyepatch, and get ready for family-friendly fun on BlueFoot Pirate Adventures!
