Miller's Seawall Grill is one of the historic restaurants on Galveston Island, opening their doors in May of 1976. Situated on prime real estate on Seawall Blvd, the gulf views from this restaurant are stunning!
Here, they are proud of their history and traditions, keeping the restaurant home-owned and operated since founding. They strive to provide the most fresh and high quality seafood through sourcing quality produce and ingredients. Miller's is a favorite among locals and visitors.
The menu is expansive, with classic American options, all-day breakfast, and superb seafood options. They are known for their National Winners: Shrimp & Gouda Grits, Benedicts, Italian Cheesecake, and Chocolate Ganache Pecan Brownie.
What's good at Miller's Seawall Grill:
All Day Breakfast
There aren't many 3 word combinations that sound as good as "all day breakfast." Especially, at a restaurant with nationally awarded breakfast foods. National winners include shrimp or pork fajitas grit, lump crab benedict, and the classic benedict. Both benedict dishes come topped with a house-made Hollandaise Sauce and a side of hashbrowns. Additionally, there are other classic savory breakfast items including omelettes, huevos rancheros, and steak and eggs.
On the sweeter side, Miller's offers waffles, pancakes, and french toast. We highly recommend their cinnamon french toast. You can even add sugar pecans, strawberry sauce, and/or whipped cream! For those that like a little bit of sweet and savory for breakfast, try one of the combination plates.
Shrimp & Gouda Grits
The shrimp and gouda grits entree is also available with pork. Moreover, you can substitute the grits for rice. However, we recommend ordering the shrimp option exactly as it comes - it is an award-winner after all!
Miller's Platter
This platter was made for seafood lovers or groups! If you're a little indecisive, this is a great choice. This platter comes with an assortment of fresh gumbo or chowder, fish, shrimp, oysters, and crab balls. Additionally, you will receive your choice of one side. Alternatively, this is a great shareable platter for a table that wants to try a little of everything. Substitution options allow you to add salmon or flounder for a charge.
Desserts
Miller's desserts are famous! Their Chocolate Ganache Pecan Brownie and Italian Cream Cheesecake are national winners. The cheesecake comes with coconut, pecans, and cream cheese. (Nut allergies beware!) On the inside, you'll find an Amaretto orange peel wrapped with cream cheese icing.
Further options include peach cobbler, key lime pie, cheesecake in assorted flavors, and classic vanilla ice-cream.
