About

Yaga's Cafe is one of Casago's favorite eateries, but we're not the only ones who added them to our "Must Visit" list. This low-key cafe ranks highly on all the top foodie websites.

Yaga's stands for peace, love, and soul! This is an establishment that highly values good vibes and giving back to the community. They support dozens of programs annually including the American Heart Association, Galveston Island Humane Society, Island Little League, and more. You can bet your support for this restaurant is contributing positively around the community.

Before you walk in, you'll notice that there is color everywhere, making this building very inviting. Recognizable by the striking blue paint and large signage, this place is hard to miss. To the right of the building, there is a gated patio area offering a more scenic dining experience.

The interior of the restaurant is also colorful; there is art everywhere you look! The bar showcases an incredible mosaic style wall above the well and the creativity does not stop there. The food and bar menu boasts a large variety of options, most with unique names.

Events

As you can see, Yaga's is very active in the community. They participate and host various events. Additionally, the company owns other businesses on the island including Tsunami, an exotic tequila emporium. In January, there is an annual Yaga's Chili Quest and Beer Fest. Try ordering these menu items at Yaga's:

Mango Cajun Salmon Salad

Looking for a healthy option? Yaga's has nearly 10 different salad options to choose from plus another 10 healthy dishes under 500 calories. On this salad, you'll receive a hearty portion of mixed greens. On top is blackened salmon, tomatoes, almonds, and mango vinaigrette.

Death Burger

The Death Burger is one of Yaga's specialty items! It starts with a 1/2 lb meat patty. Then, it's dressed with bacon, mushrooms, jalapeños, chili, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. We recommend this if you're really hungry - it's quite a handful! All burgers come with your choice of side. Options include french fries, sweet potato tots, salad, sugar snap peas, cajun potatoes, and broccoli.

Roasted Garlic Pizza

Branch out and try something different with the roasted garlic pizza. This pizza comes with chicken, roasted garlic (of course), olive oil, and mozzarella! All the pizzas are hand tossed in house for optimal texture and quality. Of course, if you prefer to go with a less adventurous flavor, they offer all the classics as well. Some other favorites include meat lovers, tomato basil, white pizza, and pepperoni. For something really out of the box, check out the Keto Salmon Avocado Pizza.
