Galveston Duck Tour Information

Typical tour times are daily at 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00PM, and 4:00PM. However, the hours of operation are subject to change. The best way to find out the tour times for the day is by calling them on the phone and confirming the schedule. In addition, this exciting activity is weather-permitting.

Purchasing Tickets

In order to go on this tour, you must purchase tickets at the location where the duck loads passengers. This location is just to the left of the Pleasure Pier, across the street from Chick-fil-A. When driving down Seawall Drive, you will often see the vessel parked in its designated parking spot. The spot is marked with a sign that reads "Reserved for Duck Tours," so even if the vehicle is not there, you will be able to spot the location.

At the time of the tour, you will find an employee sitting in front of the vehicle. They will be collecting payment. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early in order to get the best seats and ensure you obtain a spot on the tour. The best place to sit is towards the back of the vessel. This is because you will get less wind in your face during the ride and you will be able to hear your guide more clearly.

What Will You Get on the Tour

This hour long excursion takes you up and down Seawall Boulevard. In addition, you will wind through popular and historic streets. Additionally, you will explore the Strand Historic District. When you go into the water, you will find yourselves in a popular and serene fishing bay.

Did you know that Galveston has the most bars per capita in the country? After this, you'll know more fun facts just like that. Throughout the tour, your humorous guide will enlighten you with tons of information, history, and dad jokes. You'll find out about the founding families and the geography of the island.
