The exterior of Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina in Henderson is modeled after the adobe architectural style with a modern twist. The outdoor dining area has a galvanized steel roof to protect patrons from the elements, and red flame emblems run along the bottom of the fenced area.
Inside is unlike most Mexican restaurants. Gone are the Mexican artwork and faux antique wall treatments. In their place is a vaulted, open ceiling, brick walls, stained concrete floor, and large TVs mounted about the restaurant. Large glass garage doors can be rolled open for outdoor seating and to let fresh air into the cantina.

Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina: Menu & Drinks
With stellar online reviews, I had to try Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina in Henderson. I was seated at a booth and took in the restaurant's openness and unique vibe. I just hoped the food would be authentic Mexican dishes and flavor.
Our server dropped off a basket of tortilla chips and some salsas. With the first dip of my chip, I knew I was in for a taste treat. I ordered a Spicy Tanteo Margarita with Chipotle Tanteo Tequila rimmed with chili salt. It was a great combination of sweet and heat!
I went with the Table-Side Guacamole so I could choose the ingredients.
For the main course, I ordered chicken fajitas with grilled peppers and onions, a garnish of sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. I selected corn tortillas, but they offer romaine wraps for those wanting a healthier option. In addition, I got sopa de fideo and could choose between rice and beans or seasoned vegetables.
My fajita serving was ample and delicious, and having my server char it at the table was a unique experience.
