About

Located off of famous Rainy Street in Austin, TX, the Electric Shuffle Austin restaurant is in order for anyone who wants something fun to do while enjoying some delicious food and drinks (even if you don’t have a clue about shuffleboard).

Whether you want to play the game or just watch, this local favorite is a popular hangout spot to dine, mingle, play, and more.

So if you’re looking for a cool, modern bar and restaurant that offers a much more funky and eclectic mix than you will find in just about any other location in the city, then this is your spot.

Vibe

With a super fun, upbeat vibe, the Electric Shuffle is an excellent place to visit when you just want to kick up your heels, play some shuffle, and enjoy some great drinks and food.

And what’s really great about this hip restaurant is that you can enter a shuffleboard tournament and connect digitally from all over the country! So whether you want to play your friends, or make it a bigger game, at the Electric Shuffle Austin, you get a shuffleboard game experience like no other.

While I was there, I found it to be busy, fun, and the perfect mix of entertainment and music. Great for people of all ages, I happened to stumble across a college tournament and made friends in no time.

Located in the same building as the Hey Good Lookin’ Mural, I recommend stopping by after to take a few photos with your fellow travelers.

With a friendly and super cool vibe, the Electric Shuffle Austin in Highland Lakes is a must-try for a unique and fun experience!

Electric Shuffle Austin: Menu & Drinks

Can I just say…this menu is packed with flavor!

When I visited, I tried the Watermelon Sugar Mojito and Truffle Mac and Cheese Bites. The mojito was absolutely delicious, with just the right blend of sweetness and a nice punch from the alcohol. I think it’s perfect for summertime fun.

The Truffle Mac & Cheese Bites are also a must when you go. I wasn’t too sure of these starting out, but they ended up being delicious. The portion was big enough to offer a nice, filling late-night meal to share with someone, too.

Or if you like frozen drinks, you must check out their unique frozen cocktails on a hot day. They also offer some fantastic top-shelf cocktails that are smooth and tasty when you want something classic and charming.

Some of the other must-try dishes here include the Roasted Chicken & Pineapple Skewers with their sweet chili glaze and the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla.

And if you’re a “brunchie” there’s also brunch available. I learned it’s packed with goodness, including family-style served foods like Bacon Jam Breakfast Pizza and Fried Chicken & Bacon Jam Biscuits. You also get a bottle of Prosecco for each guest (yes, one per person!) and 90 minutes of shuffleboard.

With so much to enjoy on the menu, you’re going to want to come back time and time again!

Local Tips

  • You can sit inside or outdoors. I recommend sitting outside when the sun sets for a relaxing but cool Rainy Street experience.
  • If you’re looking for something sweet for dessert, stop into the Electric Shuffle Austin for their Celebration Package, which gives you ten cake pops and a bottle of bubbly.
  • It’s totally worth bringing a group of friends (up to 20 can play at one time) to have a shuffleboard tournament or party of your own. It’s like a grownup birthday party.
  • They also offer event packages - you can have up to 250 people!
