Fun Facts and Cool Features
In 2011, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade became the first place in the United States to open an observation wheel, and guests have enjoyed the view ever since.
The observation wheel stands over 200 feet high, giving riders beautiful, unobstructed views of the boardwalk, promenade, and ocean. Take a ride at sunset to catch the oil-painting-like beauty of Myrtle Beach.
While it is one of the newer attractions to the boardwalk and promenade, there are still plenty of the classics!
Opened up in 1937, Peaches Corner has been a mainstay for beachgoers for nearly a century. While much of it has changed, Peaches Corner's dedication to delivering delicious food to vacationers and sun lovers remains the same as it did back then.
