About

Golden Lion Cafe is a 2 level breezy bar with decks over looking the ocean! Serving up seafood, live music, and good vibes.

Most of the dining here is outdoor or open-air which makes it a wonderful restaurant to take in the awesome weather and beach. With around 300 seats available, you're likely to get a front-row seat to this incredible view.

Huge umbrellas throughout the restaurant provide coverage from the sun so sitting outside is perfectly comfortable. Additionally, there are multiple smaller shacks laid out which offer added seating options and even host live music. In the day, the exterior looks like a large beach shack, which it is. But don't let it fool you. This place comes alive at night when all the outdoor lights are on!

A few menu items we recommend ordering...

Fish n' Chips

Try the Golden Lion's take on this classic that has earned them the title of "Best Around" for over 28 years! A filet of white Alaskan Pollock is fried to flaky perfection after being battered in Golden Lion's homemade beer batter. Served with a side of house-made cole slaw, Golden Lion's Key Lime Tartar Sauce, and malt vinegar. You can't go wrong. If you're not a huge pollock fan, have their Shrimp n' Chips or Coconut Shrimp n' Chips instead.

Starters

There is finger food galore at this oceanside joint. They offer classic starters such as nachos, soup, salsa and chips, and chicken wings. However, they also have some more unique seafood items including fried calamari, fresh shrimp ceviche, peel 'n' eat shrimp, and sesame seared ahi tuna. Seafood lovers and non seafood lovers all are guaranteed to find mouth-watering dishes.

Burgers & Sandwiches

If you're looking for a classic burger - they've got you covered! However, if you are feeling a bit more adventurous we recommend trying their most popular handheld - the Giant Beer Battered Fish Sandwich. This sandwich includes a large filet of Alaskan Pollock beer battered and served on Ciabatta. It's basically their famous Fish n' Chips but in a sandwich form. Another popular choice in this category is the Golden Lion spin on a Spicy Chicken Quesadilla. Diced and marinated chicken is joined by black bean corn salsa, cilantro, and cheddar jack cheese wrapped up in a tomato basil tortilla package!
