Sequoia Park Flower Garden is located next door to the Sequoia Park Zoo in the city of Eureka. Both locals and tourists enjoy the 67 acre facility and all its features. It's a wonderful spot to play outside with your kids!

Location & Parking

Due to the large property and its proximity to the popular zoo, it's quite easy to locate the Sequoia Park Garden. If you're staying in Arcata, it will be just about a 15 minute drive. From Trinidad, it will be a 25-30 minute drive.

As for parking, there are plenty of parkings along the street. Though, some areas are restricted to park in, so be sure to check the signs nearby. There are also designated Garden parking lots surrounding different parts of the garden. So, you should be able to find a spot with ease.

The garden is a beautiful place to visit whether for exercise, outdoor fun, or play time with the little ones! It offers a serene environment surrounded by the Redwood Forest and high-traffic trails. Further, the trails within this park offer an alternative to the Redwood Sky Walk experience inside the zoo if you don't prefer heights.

Renting the Park for Events

Within Sequoia Park Garden, these are the locations eligible to rent: Duck Pond Picnic Area, Field, Gazebo, Group Picnic Area, & Windstorm Meadow.

If you're interested in renting the park or areas of it for events, contact the Eureka City Parks office. They require that all reservations be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the date of use. In addition, depending on the event, liability insurance may be required.

Download the Rental Fees packet for information on pricing.

To submit your rental request, click their submission link.

Choose "Park Rentals" under the "Facility Booking" category.

Select your desired location and fill out all additional info.
