Getting to California's Redwood Coast

Getting To California’s North/Redwood Coast By Plane

The airport servicing this region is Arcata-Eureka Airport (ACV), located in McKinleyville. This is a smaller airport with only a single-bag carousel – only a few flights come in and out daily. There are daily non-stop flights from many major airport hubs including Denver, San Francisco, Phoenix, Reno, Las Vegas, Burbank, and Los Angeles.

By Car

While there is an airport, you can certainly make a road trip of it along US-101. The drive is quite scenic and can save you money. If you choose to take your vehicle, many of our Redwood vacation rentals have garages or other included secure parking. Additionally, you wouldn’t have to rent a car. To note – every city in this region is pretty walkable for shops, restaurants, and activities.
