As you step inside, you'll immediately be greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the spacious living area, featuring newly installed windows that provide an abundance of natural light. This space is fully furnished with 2 sectional sofas, a coffee table, and a beautiful accent wall featuring a cozy LED fireplace and large wall mounted smart TV. From the windows guests will see stunning views of the blue ridge mountains! The open floor plan seamlessly connects the living room to the dining area and kitchen, creating an ideal space for entertaining guests or simply enjoying cozy family dinners.

The dining area is just off from the living room and features a table with enough seats to accommodate 4 guests!

Moving right along, the well-appointed kitchen boasts new, stainless steel appliances including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stove and oven, new kitchen cabinets, new counter tops, and a convenient breakfast bar, making meal preparation a breeze. The kitchen also includes smaller appliances such as a toaster and coffee maker, and all utensils and cookware are new as of August 2024.

The next room on the left is one of the guest bedrooms. This bedroom features a twin bunk bed, smart tv, and a closet for storage. There is also a half bathroom in this room for guests to use!

Across from this bedroom is where the full size bathroom is located. This bathroom features a tub/shower combo, new vanity, new mirror, and new toilet!

As you move along guests will find the two remaining bedrooms at the end of the hall, one on the left and one on the right. The bedroom on the left is considered the master and features a king sized bed, smart TV, LED fireplace, and multiple windows for natural light! The bedroom on the right is considered the other guest bedroom and features a queen sized bed with storage underneath, a smart TV, LED fireplace, and multiple widows providing natural light!

Outside, the property offers a spacious backyard, providing the perfect setting for outdoor activities, gardening, or simply relaxing in the fresh mountain air. There is also a well that is accessible on the property. Guests can also enjoy picking apples from the large tree from in the front yard! Many of our guests have sent photos of the wildlife roaming the front and back yards! Deer and rabbits are common to see in this area!

Located just 5 minutes from downtown Galax, residents will enjoy easy access to a variety of local amenities, including shops, restaurants, parks, and schools. This property is located just minutes from the New River and boat ramp access. With its scenic beauty and small-town charm, Galax offers the perfect setting for those seeking a tranquil yet vibrant community to call home.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it's part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!
