Funshine

Perched on the shores of Lake McQueeney on the Guadalupe River, the Funshine house with its guest house is a perfect getaway for family vacations! Although the lake has been lowered for repairs of the dam, the property is located on one of the deepest parts of Lake McQueeney. This home away from home offers splendid views of the water, and a stairway and deck have been built for convenient access to the water. Those that want to waterski or learn to waterski, wakeboard, and/or kneeboard can contact and visit a local water ski school, NL Ski. This retreat also enjoys a prime location, making it a great hub for your activities. Schlitterbahn, Natural Bridge Caverns, Natural Bridge Safari Parks, Bandit Golf Course, Landa Park in New Braunfels, and Starke Park in Seguin are some of the must-visit attractions. Tubing the Guadalupe or Comal Rivers and shopping in historic Gruene, Texas or the Outlet Malls in San Marcos are just a few of the nearby fun attractions.

The home offers a spacious open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. Prepare delicious homemade meals in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the major appliances needed to channel your inner chef. When mealtime is over, gather in the welcoming living area, furnished with comfy sofas and a large smart TV with streaming services. A riverfront back patio offers a fantastic spot to dine alfresco and host summertime cookouts using the provided gas grill. This retreat enjoys two bedrooms.

The detached guest house offers a private vacation rental within the main home's lot. This is ideal for families and couples looking for some privacy! There you will encounter a kitchenette with a convection oven, a full-size fridge, a microwave, a washer/dryer, and two bedrooms.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.
