About

After soaking up the sun at South Beach or exploring Tybee Island, grab a refreshing drink and meal at Treylor Park Beach Party.

This restaurant is part of the Treylor Park Restaurants, co-founded by Trey Wilder and Rick Kunzi in 2014. The original Treylor Park in the Savannah Historic District became an overnight hotspot. Visitors raved about the innovative take on comfort food and its relaxed, Southern-inspired vibe.

Since its debut, the restaurant group has expanded to include multiple locations between Georgia and Florida. Local examples are Hitch and Double Wide.

Beach Party opened in 2024 in the old Tybee Island Social Club building. The renovated interior pays homage to its predecessor while incorporating the island's coastal charm.

The menu reflects the vibe of all Treylor Park restaurants, featuring creative twists on Southern classics and comfort foods. Such inventiveness spills over into the cocktail selections, with the Grapeful Dead being an example. Yes, you read that correctly. This libation features grape Kool-Aid vodka, club soda, lime juice, and gummy bears.

Beach Party is within walking distance of the Tybee Beach Pier and a short drive from key landmarks like the Tybee Island Light Station & Museum. Such proximity makes combining food and drinks with sightseeing easy to plan.

When you need a break from the surf and sun, visit Treylor Park Beach Party to continue the family-friendly fun.

Vibe

The exterior of this beach-shack eatery is your first clue that a laid-back, fun-filled atmosphere awaits. Umbrella-covered tables out front, along with the sandbox, will appeal to families with children and couples alike.

Inside, the beach shanty vibe continues, with vivid paint colors, a refurbished wooden ceiling, and the brightly-colored tropical mural found in all Treylor restaurants. Details like the tiki-inspired tap handles at the bar add a layer of creativity and fun.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with diners enjoying meals and sharing heartfelt conversations. At sunset, the energy picks up as live music, cold drinks, and hearty food take center stage. But don't associate this with the nightlife of a rowdy, unruly bar. It's very family-friendly, which is another reason it's so popular.

The dining room is ideal for families and groups, while the bar is suited for solo diners or those seeking a more laid-back experience. The outdoor patio and aforementioned picnic tables add another layer, making this restaurant perfect for any setting or group size.

Treylor Park Beach Party: Menu & Drinks

Like the restaurant's playful name and setting, the menu is cut from the same DNA.

A case in point is the Treylor Park Pot Pie. While this comfort classic features peas, carrots, corn, celery, onions, and chicken, it draws inspiration from South of the Border. The ingredients and the creamy herb sauce are wrapped in a flour tortilla and deep-fried to a golden brown. Add the fresh pico de gallo and a side of collard greens, and you'll be hard-pressed to decide if it's a burrito or a pot pie!

The pizzas are another hit, featuring traditional options like cheese, pepperoni, and supreme. For brunch, consider the bacon, egg, and cheese pizza. This pie comes with Alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, fresh spinach, and three sunny-side-up eggs.

The taco selection will blow your mind and expand your palate. For example, the Chicken and Pancake Tacos replace traditional shells with thin pancakes, which hold fried chicken, sweet strawberry salsa, and chili aioli. The sweet and savory flavors make it perfect for brunch or dinner.

Toss in the smash burgers, fish and chips, salads, and seafood appetizers, and you have a menu everyone in your group will love.

Moving on to adult beverages, you'll find an impressive selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. A refreshing standout is the Georgia Mule. Instead of vodka, this libation uses bourbon along with lime juice, peach liqueur, and ginger beer.

With innovative dishes and drinks and its joyful vibe, Treylor Park Beach Party is a must on your Georgia getaway.
