Sedona

Sedona is known for its beautiful and almost otherworldly scenery. With mild weather and approximately 300 days of sunshine a year, it’s easy to see why Sedona is such a popular tourist destination.

When visiting the Sedona region, taking a trip through Oak Creek Canyon is an essential stop. This scenic gorge is located between the cities of Flagstaff and Sedona, and while it is known as the Grand Canyon’s smaller cousin, don’t think this means it’s not completely stunning. This is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Arizona for good reason. There are many vistas you can see from your car, but to truly get a sense of the area’s real beauty you’ll want to get out and take one of the world class hiking trails.

Visiting the famous Red Rock State Park is another absolute must when vacationing in Sedona. In addition to the stunning rock formations and variety of tree species, you will also discover the area is full of vibrant wildlife, including cougars, coyotes, deer, otters and hawks. This 286-acre nature preserve features five miles of world-class hiking trails. The park additionally serves as a public environmental education facility.

With world-famous natural wonders, rugged trails, a thriving arts community, as well as prime spa and wellness facilities, Sedona has something to offer everyone. Whether you’re traveling alone or with friends and family, discover why this is often called one of the most beautiful locations in the entire United States.
