Shaver's Centre is found next door to the Depot in the heart of Snowshoe Mountain. It is a lounging area and cafeteria - perfect for après-ski hangouts. The menu isn't sizable since it is mostly a grab-and-go location.
The inside offers ample tables and seating, suitable even for larger groups. There is additional seating upstairs as well. This is also a popular stop-in because there are public restrooms and it connects to resorts such as Powder Monkey and Stemwinder through the back exit.
Food at Shaver's Centre
As for fresh food, you can order food such as hot dogs, burgers, soups, and sandwiches. They have desserts such as cookies, ice cream, and sometimes even slices of cheesecake or pie available.
The menu does change and there are typically different selections for lunch and dinner. sometimes they offer pizzas, noodle bowls, and other dishes. Check out the chalkboard menu at the front of the cashiers for updated choices.
Grab & Go
You'll find all kinds of cold beverages here such as Powerade, milk, water, and energy drinks. If you're in the mood for a hot drink, they have a couple self-serve coffee makers and tea. Though there is no alcohol served here - there is a bar in Shaver's Centre that does offer liquor. However, its operating hours are unpredictable.
On the shelves they have various types of chips. In the fridges, along with cold beverages, they often carry cold sandwiches and snacks.
