Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO). The airport is located approximately 24 miles away from South Padre Island and takes about 35 minutes to get to by car.

South Padre Island is easy to drive to using the Queen Isabella Causeway. Thankfully, you don't need to take a ferry to get there.
