About

If you're planning a family reunion or fundraiser, one of the best places to do it is at the Lakeside Pavilion . My family has used this place a couple of times with excellent success.

The best feature of the pavilion is the view. It overlooks Marble Falls Lake which is stunning when the sun goes down. Also, this amazing lake is one of the only constant level lakes in the Texas Hill Country North.

And if you are looking for an amazing park, look no further. Lakeside Pavilion is located within Lakeside Park. The park is public, with an access pool and various recreational programs. It is a complete community center on the lake itself.

Children will enjoy the play area, and taking a walk along the waterfront has to be one of the best ways to watch the sunset.

The park itself also offers some great features, including covered picnic tables (a blessing on a hot day in the sun), as well as a few grills and restrooms. There are also several sports courts here, including a basketball court and tennis court, and a boat slip in the park that you can use for most smaller boats.

Lakeside Pavillion is definitely a great experience for those looking for a fun way to relax.

Lakeside Pavilion: Fun Facts

If you are planning to rent the pavilion, it has space for up to 400 people for presentations and 320 for banquets. There is a total of 6,200 square feet to use as you need (and you can configure it to work the way you want). However, they do offer floor plan suggestions.

If you are looking for a place to relax with the family on a hot summer day, the community pool is perfect. However, it is a place that will fill up quickly during the summer. On a hot day, even in the middle of the week there will be many families looking to cool off with their children. Get there early and leave before it gets too hot in the afternoon.

Every year, Lake Marble Falls hosts the largest drag boat race in the country, called the Lakefest Drag Boat Races during May. It's super fun to watch and worth planning a trip to the park for.

Don't forget that while you can't use and tour Lakeside Pavilion without a reservation, you can use the park at any time.

We love coming to see various experiences, including the regattas, but also to hang out with other families on the weekend. It's a fun stop on a Sunday morning for everyone.

Getting There

Lakeside Pavilion is located right on Lake Marble Falls on 3rd Street. It's very easy to get to from out of town by taking 281 to Ave H. You'll see that it's inside Lakeside Park.

Local Tips

  • Plan the tour. If you are even thinking about booking an experience here, book a tour to see it first!
  • On a warm day, people want to be outdoors in the evening. Plan to rent some outdoor furniture (you can’t take the indoor chairs outside).
  • Definitely tour the park while visiting. There are some great areas for photos right along the waterfront.
  • Lakeside Pavillion isn’t public, you will have to book it in advance for your event needs. I recommend doing so early since it can certainly fill up quickly.
