About

Looking for the ideal spot to enjoy fresh seafood and drinks just got easier at Cerritos Beach as the popular Barracuda Cantina moved its operations right to the shore. Moreover, the new beach bar spot provides the ideal location to take in stunning sunsets over the Pacific Ocean while listening to music and watching the waves. The idyllic spot in this surfers’ haven just 10 minutes from Todos Santos invites you to kick back and savor delicious Baja-style cuisine.

Barracuda Cantina is a local family-owned and run surfside dining experience. Since its inception in the heart of El Pescadero as an open-air food-truck style spot, it has made a name for itself and its baja-style tacos. The authentic Baja experience served at Barracuda’s Cantina has even been featured on Netflix’s Taco Chronicles! Now, with its beachside location on Cerritos Beach, it is just mere steps away from the calm rolling surf. What a great way to cool off with sand still between your toes and relax after some board lessons with Mario Surf School.

Vibe

Barracuda Cantina exudes a laid-back, coastal charm. Tiki-inspired designs and carvings enhance the surfer vibe of the open-air dining venue. In addition, seating arrangements cater to the community feel. Predominantly high-top settings that are easy to move make it a perfect spot for larger communal gatherings. Plus, beach umbrellas and hammocks frame more intimate cozy spots on the sand. What's more, is it's common to spot patrons enjoying their tacos and drinks while dancing to live music and DJs on the beach. Barracuda Cantina is privy to spectacular ocean views and sunsets that are an intrinsic part of the beachside community.

Barracuda Cantina: Menu & Drinks

The menu at this beachside venue is a fiesta of local flavors and inventive cuisine. One look at dining options highlights the essence of doing a handful of things really, really well. The beach-to-table culinary experience includes tacos, ceviche, quesadillas and burritos. Each of these is inspired by seasonal produce and local suppliers. A must-try dish is the Baja Fish Tacos prepared grilled or breaded with the catch of the day. Among all the taco tastings, be sure to try their grilled or breaded shrimp, sweet potato, or fried avocado taco.

In addition to the Baja-style fish tacos that stand out on the menu, what would a seaside dining experience be without ceviche? For a hearty meal, Barracuda Cantina has some of the largest Surfer Burritos around.

When it comes to drinks, the cantina does not disappoint. Craft Cocktails are it's specialty. The house margarita, crafted with fresh lime juice and top-shelf tequila, is a crowd favorite and possibly one of the best margaritas on the beach. Non-alcoholic options like the Fresca de Pepino, or a refreshing cucumber agua fresca, help make sure there's something for everyone.

All these offerings make dining at Barracuda Cantina more than just a place to eat. A step off the beach and into deliciousness is a crucial part of any trip to Todos Santos. Barracuda Cantina provides an authentic taste of the region's flavors while you still enjoy the vacation feel of sand between your toes.
