About

With a name that literally means “the corner” in English, La Esquina has been a tasty community feature in Todos Santos since 2007. Located at the corner of Calle Topete and Horizonte just west of the city center, the restaurant prides itself in offering healthy comfort food, freshly baked bread, and organic Chiapan coffee. There’s also craft beer on tap, local kombuchas, and refreshingly natural margaritas and cocktails. Furthermore, as a vibrant gathering space, La Esquina also frequently holds markets, live music, and open mic nights, among other activities.

While just a short drive from Calle Juarez, it's about a 20-minute walk from Hotel California. TIP: After taking a seat inside, staff will bring over the food and drink menus. Once you've decided, place your order at the cashier station next to the turquoise surfboard sign, and just before the bar. After placing your order, you will be given a wooden block with a number to take back to your table till your food comes.

In addition to bringing people together for fantastic meals, La Esquina loves hosting a variety of events. This includes their weekly Wednesday Market. After a mid-week stroll along Calle Juarez in Todos Santos, make your way to La Esquina. Follow the short stone path inside to the eclectic market. A number of booths set up under enormous palm trees showcase the work of local artists.

Finish off the day by savoring the fresh ingredients highlighted on the menu. Located right at the turn to go to La Maquina beach, this is also a perfect destination after taking part in the release of baby sea turtles with Grupo Tortuguero de Todos Santos.

Over the years, La Esquina has become a breakfast and lunch staple for residents and visitors. The innovative menu includes an increasing number of locally and organically grown produce. With vegetarian and even wheat-free options also on the menu, La Esquina serves comforting dishes that everyone can enjoy while highlighting Mexican cuisine.
